Sodium Hyrdoxide are odorless, white, solid hemispheres of uniform diameter and thickness. They are deliquescent and it is used in manufacture of textiles, pulp, soap, detergents. It is hydroscopic and readily absorbs water from the air. It is very soluble in water with liberation of heat.
